It would be nice if there were an option in EDG so that actions do not open in new tabs. After a session with EDG, my browser has a glut of tabs open that I have to delete.

On those occasions when I DO want a new tab, I generally just hold the Command button while clicking.

What actions do you mean, Steve?

Examples include:
1. Typing something in "Search the EDG" gives results in a new tab.
2. Clicking the first result opens the "Data Graph" view for that instance, in a new tab.
3. Clicking the "hamburger icon" and choosing a different collection, opens in a new tab.

Yes those shouldn't be opening new tabs. We'll see if we can get this adjusted for 6.4 final.

3. Clicking the "hamburger icon" and choosing a different collection, opens in a new tab.

This is intentional and desirable. A typical use case is that when you're in an instance graph and want to visit the Ontology. The difference to the other places is that it's a drop down menu, and you don't even have the choice of doing a Command-Click (or at least that would be very uncommon).
