Hi all,

   In the pipeline to create a new version of an ontology,  I cloned the ontology to the new cloned ontology, and work on this cloned version. Nevethlesse, what about the crosswalking attached to this ontology. How I can easily update the crosswalking codes with the new codes from the cloned ontology.

Onto1 -> cloned -> Onto1_cloned
Crosswalking : Onto1 <-> Onto2

How I can update (easily) the crosswalking to replace Onto1 with the Onto1_cloned in the crosswalking.

Thanks for all,

Best.

There are 2 options

1. Export your existing crosswalk, create a new crosswalk pointing to the cloned asset collection(s), (possibly) update the exported file, import crosswalk data

  • Use “Export spreadsheet" if you are cross-walking two reference datasets. In this case, you will not need to make any changes to the exported spreadsheet.
  • Otherwise, use “Export RDF” and, after export, open the file and update RDF statements that point to your underlying graphs. This is explained below - you would be making the same changes as you would be in EDG in the Source Panel.

2. Change your existing crosswalk directly in EDG to use the cloned asset collection or clone it and then change the clone.

To change, in the crosswalk editor, click on the Home button in the header. Then, add the Source Code panel - from the Panels button.

In the Source Code panel, modify either or both values of crosswalk:graph1 or crosswalk:graph2 as necessary. Also modify the corresponding value(s) of owl:imports.
