Hi,

Today we had a workshop with ~80 people who (subset of them) downloaded your Free (old) version of TBC.

Most windows, some Mac.

Now for the mac some reported that they could not import a local file as import as we said they had to do on windows variant. No window was popping up.

Do you know of any known issues here, or is there another mac-specific approach?

Alternatives, work arounds....?

Thx Michel

Ps

Is the mac version supposed to be working for any mac-os? It does not say and higher....

Hi Michel,

I just downloaded FE and installed on Mac OS 10.13.6:

I let it create a new workspace
I created a new project in the new workspace
I selected the project and right-clicked to select import
Selected File System, Next, Browse and then a folder and Open
Pop up appears listing all the files in that folder for me to select via checkbox for import
I selected a local TTL and it worked fine

The Eclipse UI on Win and Mac versions may work slightly differently? Not sure.

FWIW I’ve used TBC on Mac for at least 7-8 years (so lots of OS releases) and it’s always worked.

Cheers,
David

We will further investigate the actual issue experienced and come back.

Benno maybe you can indicate as a start the exact OS version you were using (Benno was one of the people experiencing this issue). Maybe you can also follow Davids steps and see where things go wrong at your side. It could be related by difference in procedure: Jasper, maybe you can compare with the workshop steps?

Thx Michel
