EDG Hardware Requirements and Cloud Deployment?

Hi, We are about to move our EDG instances to AWS. Could anyone help me point out hardware requirements in the EDG documentation? 

Also are there any tips for deployment in cloud? Does EDG support any failover mechanisms across availability zones?
