TBCME not showing tooltip for "imported by x ontology" on mouse hover

Hi there

In the past TBCME used to show a tooltip when an ontology was hovered over with the mouse in the Project Explorer panel.

It was a mostly handy feature ( though it never was able to show all imports which I understand due to screen space limits).

But at least in V 6.4 and recent 7 this has not been working for me.

is there a change on this tool ? a preference I'm missing? Or are other people experiencing this ?

I can't recall when it stopped working but I know it didn't in at least 6.4.

I have tested on a clean workspace and it doesn't work.

I don't know if it's related but sometimes the URI's of ontologies will not render in the project explorer too. However, I think showing these are triggered by opening an ontology in the topbraid perspective.

Hi Simon,

this probably got broken with one of the Eclipse upgrades. I remember some of these features only worked in the old (Eclipse) Navigator panel, but we switched to Project Explorer a few years ago.

To see where your graph is imported, you can open it and (with the Home resource selected) go to Resource > Find usages in workspace. This will show incoming owl:imports statements (among others).
