Hi,

After installing the latest 6.4.0 release and running from a new workspace, I am unable to open additional SPARQL views using the SPARQL Star icon in the single view that opens automatically.  This was working fine in the 6.4.0 Beta release.

I've tried creating two new workspaces and one with imports from a previous workspace with the same result in all cases.  Below is a screenshot of the Error Log just after startup for the case of a fresh workspace.  New SPARQL views cannot be created.

Thanks for your help,

Tim

Hi Tim,

this works fine for me. From the error messages, could it be that you are reusing an old workspace, or different system ontologies? It cannot find an import of technical-assets and this seems to mess up the system.

I struggle to see how any of this could be related to opening a new SPARQL view though. What happens exactly when you click that button: do new error messages appear or is it just silent?

Holger

Hi Holger,

It is confusing to me as well.  There is no response when I click the SPARQL star.  No errors.

What I did was download the new version, extract to a directory and change Xmx to 28GB.   Then I started TBC in a new workspace, imported an old workspace and got to work, soon noticing I couldn't add SPARQL windows (I like having 8-10 of them).

Next I exited TBC, restarting into another new (empty) workspace.  I did this twice with the same SPARQL view problem before sending to this list.

I will reboot over the weekend and see if that works.  I agree that it is really strange behavior and I don't know why Technical Assets wouldn't be found.

I'll send an update tomorrow,

Tim
