Hello,

I am trying to query TopBraid via a Python Session object. My script opens the session, makes 5 requests, then closes the session. In TopBraid 7.6 the script will only make 3 of the requests, then the session closes automatically and the session ID is reset in the TopBraid UI. Wondering if this is due to a known time limit or request limit that was recently implemented?  I did not recall encountering this previously in TopBraid 7.4.

Thank you,
Yohyoh

Maybe an issue with the concurrent user limit? What does the admin page at /tbl/admin/concurrentUsers show before and after the requests?

Richard

Before: "1 of 5 seats are occupied."
After request: Page refreshes, still shows "1 of 5 seats are occupied." SessionID is reset

Ok, that means it’s not a problem with concurrent user sessions. Thanks for checking. I’m not sure what it is then.

What exactly do you mean when you say “the session closes automatically”?

What exactly do you mean when you say “the session ID is reset in the TopBraid UI”? Where in the UI do you see this?

Does the overall session take long enough that some kind of timeout could be suspected?

Richard

Ah, there was actually a bug in my code for a request outside of a session. Fixed the bug and now running as expected. Thanks for your help!
