Hi,

I am trying to repeat the process of creating a constructor following this documentation and using the ConstructorExample.ttl file. I have methodically gone back and forth comparing my entry to the imported file and yet when I try to create a new instance of person to test out the code, I get an error stating

Creation failed
TypeError: (intermediate value).createPerson is not a function

What am I missing?

Thanks in advance,

David Price

Hi,

Probably just missed a step somewhere. I just did a small test as follows:

  1. downloaded the linked constructor example
  2. Created a new ontology and imported the TTL and setting the default namespace found in the TTL
  3. Set Person to be the public class of the ontology
  4. Created a Data Graph based on the ontology
  5. In Data Graph, selected Person class from dropdown
  6.  created a new instance of person entering David Price as the label

Worked fine so the TTL is not corrupted.

Cheers,
David
