Looking for references on importance/impact of SHACL

I apologize, I know this is a bit off topic for this list but I think this is probably the best place to ask this question: I'm working on a journal article on the history of AI knowledge representation and how it led to the Semantic Web. In our paper we close with a discussion of SHACL. We're going through the final round right now, responding to feedback from reviewers. One reviewer challenged why we included SHACL in the discussion. I think he was coming from a very academic point of view. From what I've seen SHACL is generating at least as much if not more interest in industry than OWL. Not that it's either/or, IMO they compliment each other nicely. Of course my opinion doesn't matter for a journal article I need references. I was wondering if anyone knows of white papers, experience reports, articles, etc. on the adoption and impact of SHACL? Any feedback would be appreciated.
