Hello In a recent Toppic result I found the  two proteoforms having different proteoform IDs
In both cases they are from the same Protein( Uniprot sp|O43169|CYB5B_HUMAN)  and one sequence is just longer than the other.

Should such sub sequences be reported as a single proteoform?

They should be considered different proteoforms. Here are a few references that describe what constitutes a proteoform: https://www.nature.com/articles/nmeth.2369 and https://www.nature.com/articles/s41592-019-0573-x
