Hi Dr. Liu and team members,

I am trying to study and compare the abundance of a certain charge state or a certain range of charge state. Is there anyway to make TopFD only deconvolute a defined charge state or a defined range of charge state?

Best,
Preston

Hi, Preston,

Thank you for using TopFD. There is an argument in TopFD that can set the maximum charge state of isotopic envelopes, but TopFD does not have an argument for the minimum charge state. If you are interested in only a range of charge state, you can do postprocessing to keep only the deconvoluted masses for the range of charge states.

Best,

Xiaowen (Kevin)
