Hi Dr. Liu,

This is Preston from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
I am currently having a project to perform MS3 analysis on intact histones and I can see some promising fragments in the MS3 spectra.

I would like to see if it is possible to use TopFD to deconvolute the MS3 spectra. Currently I am just manually inspecting the spectra. It would be nice to get a .msalign file with deconvoluted mass to work on.

The idea I could think of now is maybe change the ms3 header in the mzml file to ms2 to fool TopFD.

Best,
Preston

Hi, Preston,

If you can share with us an MS3 data, ,we will check if we can add a function to TopFD for MS3 spectral deconvolution.

Best,

Xiaowen (Kevin)
