Fedora - bought WD Elements 320 USB

Want to upgrade a PC for someone who is away for the weekend - want to
back up /home

Plug in - light on - no trace of drive - other than in "Computer" a
dir says 'USB drive' - info says 'unknown' for everything.

Some sort of auto detect process is failing probably...

Any help? I want to upgrade from 9 to 11 or 12 - or will even go to
Ubuntu - as long as I can save the /home data...

Is there some way to hack the system to make it find it, even
manually?

Robin

Hey Robin,
Sorry I'm not sure myself - if you don't get a reply soon from our
forum please post the question on the Fedora Forum - that'll give you
a wider base of experience.
Cheers
Martin
