i seem to find myself itching to find a decent game for linux i can
play online with other people, but i dont want to have to mess with
wine to do it. has anyone ever found a decent MMORPG for linux?

Very few ... however with simply installing Wine - World of Warcraft
and Dark Age of Camelot pretty much work out of the box as well as a
number of others ... good luck
