Travel Advisory: Invasive Species on Island

**** PLEASE BE ADVISED that there have been numerous reports of non-indigenous flora spotted in the forests surrounding Doe Bay. Authorities have investigated, and have determined they do not pose a threat, but visitors to the Island should be on the lookout for unusual growths on the forest floor and underneath the canopy.

As the nature of the flora has not been determined yet, campers are encouraged to not directly touch any specimens, but are welcome to photograph and otherwise interact with our visitors.

Authorities categorically deny there is any connection to the mysterious object that splashed down in Doe Bay recently. The object that came down to Earth in the middle of the night still has to be identified (as it seems to have disappeared), but the scientists involved speculate it was "either a meteor, or a space whale, although our money is on the former."

Villages and individual campers at the upcoming TOORCAMP event are requested to decorate their campsites in manners to both encourage and welcome the Flora Spacepunk visitors to our Camp, our bay, our island, and our planet.****

Treehouse Cafe: Call For Baristas!

This year the cafe in the Treehouse will be community run. Donations toward supplies or shadytips are greatly appreciated but not necessary. We'll be providing an espresso machine setup and all supplies to make espresso based drinks and we will be organizing training sessions throughout camp for those interested in learning some barista skills and volunteering for some shifts to keep the caffeine flowing. If you're interested in participating, please add your username and info to the wiki page and/or reach out on the #treehouse-cafe discord channel.

TOORCAMP Swag On-Site!!

Official TOORCAMP 2026 t-shirts (& un-official ones too!) will be available for sale on-site! Campers need look no further than The Schwagg Stall to show-off their sartorial splendor.

In addition, many useful items will be for sale that serve both uses in Camp and provide a keepsake to enjoy the memories of Camp long after the event ends. (Hey, you need something to tide you over for the next 2 years!)

So be sure to bring your currency... or those glowing rectangles that seem to be able to purchase things. Who am I kidding? You all carry those things with you EVERYWHERE you go. Even the woods. I'll even bet you are reading this on one of those right now.

Ferry Reservations available soon

Haven’t booked a ferry reservation to or from camp? New reservations will open 2 weeks before each sailing date (June 10 for June 24 arrival) at 7am PT, and additional reservations open 2 days prior to sailing. Information can be found on the Toorcamp Ferry Wiki.

Workshops

We have a number of great workshops lined up for you this year. Some of them require a fee, so make sure to bring cash. Workshops can be attended on a first-come, first-served basis. All workshops are posted on the talk schedule.

The Wiki Is Your Friend!

The Wiki is your best guide to current information for this year's ToorCamp. You’ll find answers to most of your questions on the Wiki, and the Search function is very handy for both the Wiki and Discord. Discord will be the primary comms during camp but is not regularly monitored by staff right now since we are busy with planning.

The Ocras Island chapter of the Alien Garden Club, is looking for participants for our inaugural Alien Garden Club Flora Show!

As the Island is currently being consumed by all manner of invasive Extra-Terrestrial Flora, this provides a unique opportunity to show off your vision at the Alien Garden Club Flora Show.

Design your best Alien Flora form to show off your skills and the Flora Spacepunk aesthetic.  Merge organic forms and imagery with technology to show off where bio logic and machine logic intertwine.

Solder it! CRISPR it! Weld it! Glue it! Edit it! Staple it! Fuse it! Just plain make it!

All participants should apply to AlienGa...@toorcamp.org.

HURRY! Contestant slots will go quickly!
