This coming Thursday we will have the usual practice locks to pick and a
special topic! If you are interested in learning about re-pinning
locks, this is the meeting for you! Re-keying or re-pinning locks is a
lot like changing your passwords. When is the last time you did either?
With the ease of shoulder surfing keys (just a quick photo with a smart
phone will do) and a 3d printer, anyone can duplicate the mechanical
password to your house. So lets talk about ways to mitigate this risk.
Who: everyone who uses locks
When: Thursday, May 19th 7:00-9:30pm
Where: Ctrl-H, 7608 N. Interstate Ave., Portland, OR
How much: TOOOL events are free. Feel free to donate to Ctrl-H.
What to bring: yourself, your friends & curiosity!
