I just uploaded a couple of files to the group (Character Initiative
Card.docx & Character Initiative Card.pdf - Note: you might need to
rename the docx after downloading it) and wanted to get peoples
opinions on them.

They are designed to print out on blank 3" x 5" index cards, then hand
out at the beginning of the session to fill out. I figure they have
all the necessary information well-organized, and room for
miscellaneous notes.

Any suggestions? Is there something I forgot? Need to add?

I welcome any constructive criticism,

Could we get monochrome copies of all the cards? I don't think the
character reference will be a problem, but the power/item cards tend
to print rather light on my laser printer.

I find that just choosing grayscale when you print gives a pretty good
black-and-white card (just make sure you select black-only and not
high-quality if you have the option; high-quality uses colors to
simulate grayscale to give it more shades, but comes out looking less
like black-and-white). Are you actually having problems printing the
cards on your laser printer? If so, I will consider modifying them so
they are grayscale. Does anyone like/dislike the color on the cards?
Any other comments on the cards? (Anyone else download them yet?)

Well the yellow item cards turn out a very light grey when I print
them (and I've been printing onto colored cards, so that adds to the
contrast problems).

Are you thinking that I made the original Power Cards and Item cards?
I didn't; I just made the two version of the card I made, and that is
all. If you really want something B&W, you could make something
yourself in either Word or Excel, without too much work.

That's okay, I actualy feel kinda honored (the cards are great).

I just uploaded a copy of the Index-Sized Magic Item card, modified
using Foxit Software's PDF Editor software (the trial version is fully
featured (and it doesn't add the mark for some reason)). Check it out
here:

P.S. I apologize if I'm stepping on any toes or stepping over any
boundries by uploading the modified card. I just hope people find this
useful.
