Step 5. Measure up & order your wallpaper. To avoid disappointment, always order enough wallpaper for your project in your first order, unfortunately we cannot print extension panels or add-on to already purchased walls. We will produce your wall approx 10cm longer than required to assist with excess required during installation.
It is essential you purchase a sample (Step 3 in the wallpaper ordering process) prior to ordering a full wall - you need to see how your chosen design(s) will look in your home environment prior to purchasing a full wall. Mobile phone and computer screens are not a reliable way to order wallpaper due to local device and colour-altering screen settings, ordering a sample is an essential part of the wallpaper purchasing process.
Samples are not intended for: Highly detailed colour matching purposes. There can be slight shifts in colour between print runs, which is unavoidable in the nature of printing so your wallpaper may vary slightly from sample colouring. Samples are not designed to test if your paint will adhere to self-adhesive wall coverings, you must contact your paint manufacturer prior to purchasing to ensure your paint type will allow self-adhesive wall coverings to bond to it. If you purchase a wallpaper and it does not adhere correctly to your painted wall (bubbling or falls off), this is an issue with your paint type repelling the product. Our wallpaper designers will do their best to accommodate any customisation requirements to your final wall purchase like; scale of patten (most can be made smaller or larger) and/or colour changes. Additional samples will need to be purchased if you would like to test any customisations.
Samples are not designed for small projects, as they have specifications and product information on the sample - if you would like a small section of wallpaper for a project please contact customer care for a quote.
It is upon the purchaser to ensure they have ordered a sample prior to ordering a full wall and that all Olive et Oriel product(s) are suitable for the location and wall it is to be installed based on all information provided within this detailed product page, drop down menus and the oliveetoriel.com website.
Returns policy, wallpaper is a custom made product as as such is not eligible for exchange, return or refund. You must purchase a sample and review prior to purchasing a full wall to ensure you have chosen the right design for your interior project. Wallpapers are non-refundable.

While every effort is made to ensure accuracy of colour throughout our professional printing and quality control process, we cannot control local device settings which includes but not limited to brightness, dullness and various other settings on purchaser screens, mobile phones or other devices. Always order a sample prior to purchasing a full wall of wallpaper for confirmation on colour in your unique home or interior environment.
International Orders (outside of Australia) duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid by the recipient.
Important: Damages are not based on the wallpaper, they occur due to wall preparation. Example: If your gyprock/plasterboard wall was installed, sanded and not thoroughly cleaned prior to priming and painting any wall covering will remove the paint, as the wall has not been prepared correctly.
From plasterboard through to paint - the number of painted coats on your wall, age and type of paint used, undulation, dryness or dampness of your intended surface, no PVA primers used, heat from the sun etc may all have effects when removing wallpaper from the surface, including during installation.
All we can do is provide you with the highest quality wallpaper and guide you through the above warnings as we believe is important for our customers to understand not only how damages can occur, but why.
Disclaimer: Whilst all testing of wallpaper has shown positive feedback, it is important to know that we cannot guarantee that under any and all circumstances that no adhesive will remain on the surface when removed or that your surface will adhere to it, or that no cosmetic damages will occur.
Note: Failing to install two full coats of this specialty primer may result in the wallpaper not adhering to / falling off your wall, or creating bubbles. For the longevity of your new wallpaper, always apply this speciality product before installing, it takes only 24hrs to cure and has been specially formulated to provide the ideal surface for applying self-adhesive wall coverings.
