Hows abouts a big-O group ride? Or maybe just a normal sized group ride.

Let's get out and be seen! There is nothing that can lift the spirits of Lubbock citizens more that seeing a bunch of overweight, greying, men and, of course, beautiful, intelligent women, riding scooters in a group.  If my memory has not completely failed me, I believe we have not gone out on the best road around these parts for a ride this year.  I'm talking about going to the Slayton Bakery via Mimosa, Ave.  The little farm to market roads tend to suit slow scooter riding perfectly: little or no traffic, great views, and even a couple of hills with curves!  Oh and a tunnel made out of trees with (usually) wild turkeys!  The plan is to meet up Saturday morning at J&B coffee at 9:30am. Sip some coffee and maybe get a bite to eat and head on out.  It's about 25 miles to our destination, so it'll take 2.5 - 3 hours round trip. We should feel like we've done some riding when it's done! Friday is Danel Spray's birthday, so we may stop for lunch either in Slayton or once we're back in Lubbock to buy the old man some lunch (this is all up in the air right now and we'll just play it by ear).   Anyway, a good ride with some good friends to a great bakery on a great day. What more could you ask for?   See you at 9:30 on Saturday!!!

Awe man. This is one of the only reasons I miss Lubbock. Y'all have fun!

Brent!  There's still time to make here!  I'm sure we've got an extra scooter you could borrow.  But only if you bring Jessie!
