When I launch Maple, I have to activate my license, so I type my purchase code and then I fill the form, but I receive the message "not enough activations left on this account". I used and installed Maple on an old computer and sold it because it was really old, now with my new computer I would like to re-install Maple, is there a way I can use my old activation key, instead of buying Maple again ?

Great place to find rare and hard to find maples. I recently purchased a Michael Steinhardt trident maple from them and was extremely happy with the size and quality of the tree. As far as I know they are the only online source that carries this beautiful cultivar. First thing that impressed me was the shipment packaging. These two guys really know their stuff! Matt and Tim Nichols are 2 of the most educated people when talking about maples. I've been buying maples from them for the past 6 years and have never had a bad experience. Their mail order trees are packaged well, and delivered in healthy condition. If you get a chance, stop by the nursery and take in all the color. They have over 1000 cultivars to choose from as well as a few display gardens so you can see what each cultivar will look like in the landscape. i changed from Mint 17 to Mint 18 and wanted to reinstall Maple18. I didn't know that there is a file with the license which i just need to keep. The activated the purchase code so that i can use it again.
Now i also have this problem "Missing Host ID for license server" which i haven't had before. I tried to install the ld-lsb package from AUR: -lsb/, but the package doesn't seem to exist any longer.
Where can i find it, or is it included in another package? Or, do you another idea for me?
Duke purchases perpetual licenses from Maplesoft and resells them at-cost as a service for students. Through OIT, students may purchase a personal perpetual (non-expiring) license of the latest version of Maple for $35. The normal cost is $99. This does not include any upgrades to a newer version, and to upgrade to a newer version, one must purchase another license. Each license purchased allows a student to download the software and install and activate it on his or her personal computer with a purchase code one time. Additional licenses will need to be purchased for additional activations.
Licenses purchased through the student use program permit only the single user installation type and usage is limited to student use only. Commercial, instruction, teaching and research purposes are not permitted.
On ceasing to be a student, students who have purchased a Maple license through OIT may continue to use the software only for personal and non-commercial use, or elect to convert the student license into another license option upon payment to Maplesoft of a conversion fee (not done through OIT).

Maplesoft provides an installer script that may work on some Arch Linux installations. Version 18 is supported by maple18AUR, later versions use the year as a version: e.g. maple2021AUR. Make sure that you have a working Java installation before beginning.
In order to get Maple to accept your activation code, you may need to install the ld-lsb package. This will fake a standard Linux standard base runtime and convince the authentication server to accept your valid activation code. The lsb-release package does not solve this issue, as the MapleSoft installation support site might lead one to believe.

I haven't used Maple Flow so far, but, yes, here I think that Maple Flow has some unpleasantness (at least as it seems at first glance) as @Fred_Kohlhepp says if you have to write lines of code to implement things that you implement in Mathcad without lines of code and which are intuitive and easy to use.
For now, Maple Flow is just beginning, which is more difficult to say how much it is suitable to be used or not for the future, given that other possible improvements will follow.
But anyway, if you have to write lines of code to implement things (even a chart), then it's not so pleasant.
