ive been away from sims for almost a year and its so amazing to come back and see that people are still discovering and creating new things!!! thank you so much for this blog and for the community for keeping this game alive and fresh
You can still "adjust" them with mods like MCCC. It's under like MCCC Cas\Sim Physique. That way actually IS a lot faster for adjusting a sim's fitness\fatness because you don't actually have to take them into CAS to adjust. It goes from -100 (super thin) to 0 (normal) to 100 (super fat).
thanks, I think also you can't change their physique after a while, especially when like my sim has had 6 kids lol. maybe sims stop you from editing the body fully after a while to keep the realism? idk it's weird.
Also i read a thread here where someone had the same problem, and someone replied saying that you should remove a cache folder? I did (it was empty anyway) and now when i play sims it said "items have been removed, some build mode items won't be available". Is that normal?
@imiibae If you see a post that recommends deleting a cache file it's mostly likely they are referring to the localthumbcache.package file in your Sims 4 folder. This file is safe to delete as the game will auto-generate a new cache file the next time you launch it. If you are getting a missing content (items have been removed) message perhaps you deleted some CC files?
I've seen the same thing that @beatrix137 mentioned. I once tried to edit a female Sim in the Manage Households menu and her sliders were missing even though I had made changes to this Sim before. When I did some further checking on this Sim she was indeed pregnant. After she had her baby I was able to adjust her sliders again like normal. If you are using the cas.fulleditmode cheat to edit an existing Sim make sure you have testingcheats on before you enter the cas.fulleditmode cheat into a command console window (aka cheat window).
First, mess around with the sliders as they already are, maxing them or minimizing them wherever you want those extreme features. For a cyclops, I tried to get eyes as close together as possible. Custom sliders help.
With a cyclops, that helps you get the eyes so close together that they start merging, selling the illusion that the sim is a legit cyclops. This trick can do lots of stuff, like huge features, or a forehead face, or maybe no face at all.
I have approximately 50,000 more things to do in this game and I did not spend countless hours of my life figuring out the best configuration of mods and game rituals to keep the game running to just give it up now(and start all over with another game I will undoubtedly have to do the same thing for).
Mesh is by Juliana but I originally found the sweater at @simsinspring. Stencils are from patterns made by BlueMurder(If you have the time look through her stuff, there are lots of awesome patterns).
UPDATED: So it seems like a lot of SimPAck items have disappeared! WTF LOL I am beyond upset about this. Is there a save back up of simspack that is stored in my luncher or am I just on my own now. :(
What I would do is pull the DCCache and open the launcher to regenerate the folder(hopefully it will open), then close it and place your backup files in there, delete the usual cache files, and re-open the launcher and see if that made any difference!
For many people familiar with tsrw this is likely old news, but as a novice user I had a hard time piecing together the process. Hopefully this tutorial will help point some other novices in the right direction.
1. Open tsrw and create a new project, opening the package file of the store piece you want to edit. As you can see in my example, when you move the fat slider around the mesh does not change. The store items do not work the same way as EP/SP clothing and therefore we just have to create a whole new object.
8. Now open milkshape and import the updated high LOD mesh. You should see all the morphs layered over eachother like the example. You will want to take a look at each one to make sure it all looks good, particularly the fat and pregnant morphs as those can get a little wonky. Make your adjustments and export.
3. Now replace the BONDS in the new file with the ones from the original file in the order that they appear in the original file. So here I have both open and I reference the order the instance numbers appear in the female dress and replace them accordingly in the male shirt.
Tonight I made a side blog for sims 3 patterns. At the moment there are only some reblogs of tumblr posts but I will soon be adding collections of my favorite patterns from the exchange and other sites.
It always bugged me that male necks in TS3 tended to slope inwards behind the jaw, especially with buffer sims- this mod aims to fix that! Anyways, I was sitting on this a bit thinking I could improve it, but I might as well release it for now.
I answer polite asks and WCIFs only and may not answer WCIFs if they're for an absurd amount of items (eg: wcif everything on your sim) or are incredibly vague. Be specific, my psychic powers faded in the 2010s. I won't upload sims on request as I throw a lot of CC at my sims and make CC-free sims specifically for uploading. upcoming projects Simblreen 2019 project info recent updates 01jan update text blog information About: text
hi this was inspired by some guy i saw on the tube :) I really dont like how round the foreheads always are on my sims, sometimes i want something a bit more depthy/angular! so I made this slider! I know others might be similar but I didnt find one I really liked so!
Some may conflict if they are edits or previous sliders and not totally new ones though, well, only one will work. But if they just do the same thing they should not conflict if they were made independently!
So I've begun working with sliders again, which may or may not be a good thing depending on how one sees it. Just thought I should list out some pros and cons of using sliders as well as address the issue of my sims looking "too different" compared to the picture of them shown without CC.

The color sliders are so cool! Almost unlimited possibilities!!! I hope modders find amazing ways to work with them soon. EVERY CAS part has potential to work with them. My lastest hair is already compatible. More info HERE.
Use the scale up & down feature on your keyboard to make the items larger or smaller to your liking. If you have a non-US keyboard, it may be different keys depending on which alphabet it uses.
Blahberry Pancake and I made the Eden Set together. She made a super cute necklace and the facepaint, and I made the hair. Everything was based in this stunning piece of art. We hope you enjoy our work!
This is occurring because you are setting the sliders min and max to values with lots of digits after the decimal point. You can solve this by rounding the values for the sliders min and max first, for example:
Nanosims data acquired in the image mode form a 3-dimensional data-cube, where the detected ion counts vary as a function of the lateral (X and Y) and vertical (Z) co-ordinates. I want to be able to display this variation.
