Subject: From Cienega High School- Homecoming

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Homecoming is a high energy week around campus! Here is some information for the week to share with your students:

Homecoming Spirit Week
Monday: Class Color
Tuesday: Pajama Day
Wednesday: Favorite Game/Game Character
Thursday: Action Figure or Doll Day
Friday: CHS Spirit Gear Day


The traditional Homecoming Dance will follow the football game on Friday, October 17th from
9:00 p.m. To 11:30 p.m.

Please know that the times are set so that student drivers can be home before curfew.

Also, at our first dance, we had many students that were picked up over an hour AFTER the dance ended. As staff, we stay with the students until all are picked up by parents or guardians. I am asking your support to make sure that your student is picked up immediately following the dance. Please be in the parking lot no later than 11:30. Staff who chaperone the dance will have been at the school since 7:00 am making a very long day, especially when students do not leave the campus until 12:30 am.

Consequences for students picked up late will result in non-attendance at the next dance, which is Winter Formal. Please mark your calendars and set your clocks if you need to provide transportation home for your son or daughter.

Staff want to make these events a positive memory for our students.
