Manager, Manufacturing Automation- China! (1-983565)
China major city 1 hour outside Shanghai
Base Salary $100,000 - $120,000
Bonus Eligible

Must be willing and able to work and live in China for 2 years.
WHAT YOULL NEED -
- Bachelors DEGREE; majored in Mechanical Electrical Engineering preferred; MBA preferred
- Experience in METAL working manufacturing environment
- Experience especially with manufacturing ROBOTIC AUTOMATION or CONTROLS and take product line concepts through design/development/equipment
- 3+ years CIP (continual improvement process) management experience as manager, as well as quality management and project management
- Experience working in a multi-national environment
- Experience with construction/start up of new facility (layout, civil works, relocation etc.) (considered a plus)
- Experience with managing projects with CAPEX budget guidelines
- Ability to work across different languages and cultures, especially within the Chinese culture.
- Ability to speak Chinese would, of course, be a large plus.
- Good communication skills and coordination capability, teamwork sense with strong result orientation
- Good command of English, especially on writing, CET-6 or above
WHAT YOULL DO
In this role, you will help develop and implement our MANUFACTURING AUTOMATION best practices with a specific focus on ROBOTIC technology. Looking for someone who is tactical with ability to implement robotic automation solution, but also possesses the ability to think more broadly across general automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key projects will include:
- Coordination of new technology and concept implementation such as automation assembly lines etc.
- Ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency improvement by leading, coordination, and undertaking the implementation of the continuous improvement and elimination of waste
- Construction of new facility (layout, civil works, relocation etc.) with assigned Project Management
- Coordinate internal and global new technology/concept implementation
- Take product line concepts through design development/equipment
- Identify opportunities for improvement and initiate process improvement projects and lead the cross teams on continuous improvement projects to achieve operational business goals
- Leverage Value Stream Analyzing method to improve the production procedure during layout planning
- Lead lean projects to deliver significant operational improvements and financial benefits, including
- Manage projects with CAPEX budget guidelines
