Bad Guy or Good Guy; I have been sincerely serving different kind of communities such as Buddhist, Christianity, and Islam in Myanmar since I have passed my high school in year 2000 as I was a volunteer for countless hours. I have established the organization called “Youth for Social Change Myanmar (YSCM)” in 2007 when I was 25. This organization has been enthusiastically working for citizens of Myanmar by conducting the series of critical thinking and analytical skills training for 3 years plus providing civic education, human rights education, peace education, and sustainability education in Myanmar for 2 more years. All together we have been operating for more than 5 years. Over 1500 alumni from different part of the country have received our services, training, and education in different way. Since I have been working on political education and human rights education, it was hard time in Myanmar. It was serious jeopardy for a person who is really working on human rights related issues. But I was insecurely happy by working for citizen of Myanmar in order to improve democracy and democratic development. I never stop working and never stop learning to improve my knowledge and skills.
As I am a Muslim, I have done enough to this country. But I am rewarded by receiving black mail like some people from extreme Buddhism or terrorists who are telling me like “They want to kill me and my family because we are Muslim”. As I am a Muslim who never support “Violence”. I never believe and consider that violence is the way to solve or find solution for all sort of problems in civilized society. In Islamic community of Myanmar, my brothers and sisters are having violence from our respected Buddhism and terrorists who destroy our houses, properties and killing our family members. Peace and Justice are fading away in this country. Legally, we have received ignorance and un-protection from Myanmar’s government or law enforcement. The international community can see their injustice and violence through our pain. We are not born to be victims in Myanmar. We are human being like them, like you, and like anyone in this world.
I am calling you to STOP violence against Muslims in Myanmar.
Please don’t support and practice any form of violence in our society.
Please don’t use violence as a tool to tyrannize and persecute the religious and ethnic minorities.
