I have a 1985 30' Sport Cruiser with 2 Crusader engines. Does anyone have RPM/Speed graph? Any recommended prop specs?
Thanks,
Dave Smith

Dave,
I have the same boat but fortunately I can not tell you the pitch. It has a cup on the outer edge and I think it helps on the higher speeds.
The down side is that at 2,500 to 3,000 RPM the boat will chime walk. By that I mean it becomes unstable in diving from side to side and trying to control it by the trim tabs will not elevate the problem.
When the boat comes out of the water this fall, end of September, I will measurer both props for the diameter and let you know.
By the way, do you have the single hatch cover over the engines? I could not reach the outboard side of the engines to change the plugs until I cut in a West Marine hatch cover into the outside of the deck. A real pain.
I have also installed MSD distributors removing the old points system, which became a real problem with keeping them in timing.

Thanks
John Maring

John
I have a single hatch cover and can pretty well get at all parts.
Replaced both distributors this year as well.
Thanks for the prop info when you can get to it.
Dave
