I just bought a 78 Sedan Flying Bridge Tolly in almost factory condition and paid $16,000. I have had the hull repainted and some cosmetic work, but that is it. Runs great and not a lot of hours on the engines.
I am curious about one thing. The starboard engine hatch has a notch cut out to accommodate the heat exchanger for the 255 merccruiser engine. The other day the hatch was turned around and we walked on it and it breached the exchanger and the engine overheated. Did the Tolly come with the merccruisers, and if so a notch seems so un Tolly. Let me know if you have any info.
