Tilly 39 8.1 mercury gas engine

I have had over the last three years the coolant in the port engine creating little guyi tiny pellets that clog up the heat exchanger. I needed to take the exchanger off and have them cleaned at the radiator shop. No one can explain the root cause of this, as it only happens in the port engine. No additives are in the coolant, I flushed those whole system in the spring and it just happened again. Any ideas or suggestions what can cause this and what to do to stop or prevent this ?
