Has anyone added an analog to digital converter to view data from sensors on older (i.e carbureted, non ecu) engines.  I want to be able to view data on my garmin plotters over NMEA 2000.  It looks like there are devices that can do this (albacombi, actisense-emu).  The wiring looks pretty straightforward but I don't know how easy the programming/calibration would be.  Looking for advice from anyone who has done/considered this project.

Thanks,
Jeff Edelman

Have a look at this, works great for me, had them on my last two boats. Very compatible with Garmin.

The Noland RS 11 is  another option I hadn’t considered.  Did you install and calibrate? The calibration of these devices seems a bit daunting.  Do you have 1 for each engine?  I have an ‘88 34 sports sedan with twin crusader 7.4s.

Thanks

Calibration is easy, I have two units, a double for the engines, and a single for the genset. I have not connected the tachs, I think that might be a bit trying, and I'm only worried about oil, voltage and temp

I have been looking into this product. Looks easy to set up. They do recommend to know the make/model of the senders and the guages.
