Hi Mr Bower
My name is Greg Peterson and I am also a new January member with a Tolly 48.
I have a queen conversion in the forward stateroom which does not meet my extended family needs. Want the two beds back.
We could trade the queen which is like new for the original v birth bunks. Just not enough beds on the 48. Had more beds on the 37 which was well laid out.
The 48 is the right size but needs 3 staterooms.
Let me know if you are interested.

My wife Sabrina and I are new members to the club. We purchased a 1991 48
Tolly in December. It currently has the split bed configuration in the V
berth and we are wanting to convert it, ...more

Do you have any pics? I have a 48 with new vessel berth mattresses that are upholstered. How big of a job to install the queen?

We have a 91 Tolly 48 and have the two births.

My question is where would you stand to dress/undress if you convert to a queen?  I think the area left would be quite small.

Hi Greg,

What I would like to do is make the two berth configuration convertible to one large bed.  This way we could configure it either way depending on who is joining us.  I would like to see your queen and how it was done if you have any photos.

As far as enough room with the queen it seems with the door to the galley closed and the door to the forward head closed there would be quite a bit of room?

Hi guys,

The newer Tolly 48’s had a queen in the front berth. It appears the closet lockers were removed and the head configuration is a bit different. There Is a 1996 for sale on YachtWorld that has a few pictures.
