I am trying to find a Tollycraft emblem for the front of my 26. I know they are probably impossible to come by.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a place that might be able to 3D print?

I'm not aware of any emblem that goes on the front. The plastic side emblems towards the back of the cabin I believe the club has some for sale. If you just want to have a stick on one like everybody else  Prisim Graphics in Seattle
probably should  have the program to make you some.

I'm having Prism Graphics https://www.prismgraphics.com/ make me three all chrome (silver) emblems.  I think they will start offering sets of three since the older Tolly's had three.  Not sure if they'll make the chrome as a standard product as well.

I've been trying to get one from the club for three years. The rumor is they have some, but I've never been able to get a clear answer in spite of many attempts. There were some at the RH rendezvous, and I think  a kind group member grabbed me one. Fingers crossed.

Chris, when you say emblem I'm not sure if you're talking about a decal or the Tolycraft symbol?  Where does it mount? And is that location a flat surface? I have the tallykraft emblem that goes on the side of the vessel and it's just the tallykraft name in Chrome

Good afternoon Chris,
Not sure I know of what your asking? I've never seen an emblem on the front of any Tolly's, we have the plastic emblems and propellers in the Tolly Swag store that we'll be bringing to the Mini's and next years Rendezvous

Brian,

The one I am talking about is the plastic one on the front/bow of the boat, above the front window.

That surface on that area is curved but the name is small enough that I don’t think that would be an issue.

They are riveted in place.

What I am looking for is the name not the small emblem, however if I could get them a both in chrome I would love to replace both the name and the emblem.

Guess I should have been more clear because the emblem would actually be the small Tollycraft Emblem not the name.

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

I wish I could help you, buy getting a sticker from Prism Graphics is all I can think of... I see why you're going to the trouble... your boat looks great.

The Tollycraft (name) emblem I have i  think would stand a good chance of cracking if I tried to mount it there and I was going too use it on the starboard side anyway, but I want to see what else is available out there  now; and frankly it's not a super high priority right now.  I'm  getting close to getting Symphony back in the water and have almost five years  into the restoration/upgrade.

I'll keep an eye out and send you a note if I see anything.

Any tips and tricks for removing the old and installing the new would be welcome. Do I need a rivet gun? Can I just use screws (with sealant)? How to remove old rivets?

Thank you!

Yeah Chris, and I think the guy who owned all the Old Tully craft inventory passed away. But I'm not sure of that. I bought a rudder off of him for a tally 28 to put on my 26. Some stuff like that might still be around someplace. There were people that were interested in buying out that some of that stuff. Don't know who. But one of the big club meetings might have somebody that knows a lot more than me. Dan leanhouts knows a lot

Old rivets are removed by drilling the rounded part of the head off.  The emblem will slid off the remaining aluminum rivet.  Then pop the rivet through the boat with a punch.  Generally speaking.
My emblems on my 44 are screwed in with SS screws.
