V berth bed

Hi,

My wife Sabrina and I are new members to the club.  We purchased a 1991 48 Tolly in December.  It currently has the split bed configuration in the V berth and we are wanting to convert it, or be able to convert it to a single larger bed.  We are looking for any tips or ideas on how this has been done.
