Anyone have success towing aluminum hull inflatable with 26' Tolly?

I tow a 12 foot fiberglass inflatable mfg by Rendova with a 50 hp mercury OB without any problems at all.  It’s a bit slower going and a bit more $$ to get any where. I have a 1975 26 with a V drive and a mercruiser 255 (351 Ford block).
