Mysteak tip marinade is a beer-based marinade made with IPA, lemon juice, oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and spices. Beer teriyaki marinade is a result of experimenting with different ingredients I had in the fridge. The marinade is slightly sweet with a very mild kick!
Prep steak by cutting into varying 3-5 inch strips in length. For best results, use a meat mallet to mechanically tenderize. This will help soften the meat greatly and almost guarantee tender results.
Combine beer teriyaki marinade ingredients in a blender or bowl. Whisk vigorously for 1-2 minutes or blend for 30 seconds until spices and oils are well combined. Place steak tips in a plastic container with a lid or a large sealable gallon-sized plastic bag. Pour marinade over the steak and refrigerate. Marinate for at least 8 hours and 24 hours for best results.
Grill tips for 5-6 minutes per side for medium rare. Depending on the thickness, it may take more or less time. I usually shoot for medium, 5-7 minutes per side. Over the last few minutes, I rotate the tips to sear any non-seared edges or corners so the outside has a nice caramelized crust throughout the exterior. Let steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Tender steak, perfectly marinated to bring out the most explosive and amazing flavor! These Marinated Steak Bites are packed with flavor and full of fun! I often make these when making a buffet of Appetizers, including Bacon Jalapeno Poppers and Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball Bites!
These steak bites will knock you straight in the taste buds. The marinade soaks into the steak so that every bite is just as amazing as the one before it. This recipe is about 2 steaks, which as an appetizer, and feed about 4 people. (Or 2 really hungry people!) If you want to serve this for a meal just pair it with some easy Mashed Potatoes or a Wedge Salad and consider yourself full!
The process of marinating steak does a couple of things. First, it adds a blast of flavor to the meat. Allowing the marinade mixture to soak into the meat and fat, gives it the chance to permeate the entire cut and ensure that each bite will be filled with layers of that amazing flavor. Second, it makes the meat more tender. Different cuts of meat have different degrees of toughness and marbling. Marbling in steak refers to the fat content. If you look closely, a well-marbled steak will have the streaky look of actual marble, and in my opinion, will taste better.
I have found that the optimal amount of time to allow steak to marinade is about 30 minutes. However, I am one that likes to taste the flavor of the actual meat. I want the flavor to have a chance to soak in, but without overpowering the natural flavor of the steak I am eating.
Simply get your foil ready then divide the marinated steak between the sheets. This recipe makes 2 healthy sized foil packets. Close the foil packets and set on a hot grill for about 10 minutes. This will result in a medium steak bite, if you want them cooked more you sure can.
Homestead Recipes is a book about comfort food! The best kind in my opinion. This book has you covered with recipes for all types of meals, with chapters for breakfast, casseroles, soups, appetizers, ground beef, chicken, pork, vegetables, salads, bars, desserts, and cookies.
A: This will depend on your cooking method. As we detailed earlier in this article, it takes less than 10 minutes to pan-sear and roast steak tips in the oven. Other quick methods, like grilling or using a griddle on the stove, should clock in at a similar time. Slow-cooked dishes with steak tips, like braises, soups, and stews, will take hours. Just make sure you cook to your preferred doneness.
A: Steak tips are so versatile. They can be the centerpiece protein of a meal, or work as a hearty addition to something like a stew, soup, or rice dish. How you serve your steak tips will totally depend on the marinades and flavorings you use, too. Here are a few ideas we think are delicious:
We love sheet pan recipes for so many reasons! When creating this series our main goal was to always have a meal packed with flavor while also being simple to prepare. Yes, there are a few steps to follow in these recipes, but aside from mixing a few ingredients together or chopping a few vegetables the cooking process is mostly hands-off! This means that while dinner is baking in the oven, you can get ahead on some household chores or spend some times with the family instead of standing over the stove babysitting a recipe. Check out the tips below to make sheet pan cooking a breeze.
Hi, this is one of our favorites! Where are you supposed to add the 1 teaspoon black pepper that is listed under the steak and veggies? I am not seeing anywhere in the instructions to add it. Thank you!
Yes! Because this marinade contains vinegar, which is a steak tenderizer, you can use it to tenderize and flavor any of your favorite cuts of steak. I do not recommend marinating an already tender cut, like a filet mignon.
For more tender steaks, like the sirloin pictured throughout this post, a ribeye or New York steak, I recommend a quick marinade between 20 minutes and 2 hours. For a tougher cut of steak, like a flank or strip steak, I recommend marinating for 4-8 hours.
Yes! Sirloin is one of the best cuts of steak for making shish kabobs. When using this marinade to make kabobs, I recommend cubing the steak, then adding it to the marinade. This means, more of the steak surface area gets to soak up the delicious marinade.
After marinating the cubes of steak for at least 20 minutes, skewer the steak by itself or with veggies like bell peppers and onions. Grill the steak shish kabobs over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes, flip and continue grilling for an additional 4-5 minutes.
This is by far the best marinade for the lesser expensive meats like round. Must be really awesome for sirloin and London broil. I let our 2lb steak in the marinade for 4 hours. Turned out really tender. Really enjoyed it.
I have to admit I have not tried this yet, but already love the comments. I have a question. I like to prepare food for the freezer ( especially for my husband lol) when he goes to our property. Anyway my question is one I have marinated the steak can I freeze right away for later
I began this blog in 2011 to share my favorite recipes with the world. Since then, I've shared over 1,300 original recipes on the blog, published a cookbook and appeared on news stations across the country! Sharing what I love with you is a dream come true, I'm so excited you're here!
I used these for a low-carb stir fry tonight, and they were AWESOME. I marinated the beef tips (I used stew beef) overnight in a ziploc bag, then baked them until nearly done in the oven. Then I drained the liquid off, tossed the beef tips into a pot with a bagged stir fry veggie mix (bok choi and other fresh veggies, not frozen), added a little sesame oil and tossed until the veggies were *just* wilted. No other seasoning needed and the normally tough stew beef was SO tender.
I made this for my family tonight for supper I followed the recipe per Batum it turned out very delicious thank you for the wonderful recipe you are really making me look good in the kitchen thank you
I made the recipe but I toned down the basil and added some thyme instead. I also added a large splash of red wine vinegar. I think next time I make it I would add red pepper flakes to the marinade because for me it needed a bit of zip. Also i have a soy allergy so I subbed coconut aminos.
This super easy steak tips recipe brings sirloin steak to life. I will show you my tips for how to cook steak tips perfectly every time with only a handful of ingredients. You will be making this recipe for your family over and over again!
This Sirloin Steak Tips Recipe will be a staple in your house for years to come. My family requests this recipe at least once a week because it's their favorite way to eat steak. It is so easy, so I happily oblige! I love to serve them with cauliflower Mac and cheese, Keto coleslaw, or Loaded cauliflower rice casserole.
This recipe uses sirloin, but some other options would be ribeye steak or beef tenderloin (filet mignon), but I would not use such high-quality meat for this recipe. I think sirloin would be the best because it's still a good quality steak but not as expensive. You're the boss, so use whatever tender beef you want!
This easy sirloin steak tips recipe uses simple ingredients, but I provide swap options if you want to make them gluten-free. The full recipe card with exact measurements is toward the bottom of the page.
This simple recipe only uses four ingredients! (salt and pepper are generally not included in ingredient counts.) I feel like anything more would take away from that delicious beefy flavor. When I eat steak, I want to taste all that umami beef and only add ingredients to enhance it. Here are the ingredients you will need.
Step 1 - Use a sharp knife to cut the sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces (about 1 to 1.5 inches). You don't have to worry about slicing against the grain because we are cutting these into cubes. Transfer the steak to a medium size mixing bowl.
Step 2 - Season the steak tips with the marinade ingredients. Toss with tongs to coat the steak well with the marinade. Let marinate for 15-30 minutes. For great flavor, marinate for up to 24 hours.
Step 4 - Carefully add the sirloin tips to the hot skillet in a single layer. If your skillet is large enough, you may be able to fit all of the meat, but do not crowd the pan, or else they will steam, and there is a good chance they will not get golden brown. You may need to cook these in batches.
