I hope you've been looking at the Google fromt page over the period of
the Olympics and seen the cute little drawings that link Google with
the Games. If not, start now.

Well I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out. Today it's horses and
water polo.

Middle-earth Olympics would have been an interesting spectacle. The
Elves would clean up in the archery, but I reckon the orcs would have
held their own in wrestling. The Dwarves would struggle, unless there
was a mithril medal of course.

The dwarves would take out the hammer throw! As for the marathon,
there'd be a few in that - Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli for example.

Saw it myself for the 1st time today .. I use a personalised google page
which rotates thru' the library of different google images at random. It
took until now for it to catch up with the games I guess. Then again, I
generally use google from the search box so don't actually see the main
page.

cheers,
David

Would this be a full scale test, a 50/50 or a 20/20?

My reply to this got thru' the list .. but a few minutes later I sent a
reply to the cricket comment and THAT DID NOT GET THRU'.

Something's definitely not right.

Time to change to another list provider, methinks.
