January Edit Party at Seed Coworking

Hi - I am helping finalize the January Edit Party details. It will be at Seed Coworking - https://www.seedcoworking.com/ that is for sure.

Day/Date? I am checking if Saturday, January 12th will work for them - they are sponsoring a conference in Sandusky right around that time. So the 19th may be better for them.

4-6pm has been the time in the past - and that may work for them. One bad part about that time: Downtown Latte, the coffee shop across the street, closed at 3pm on Saturdays. So if getting hot caffeine is a requirement, then earlier in the day would be better.

Home Slice Pizza is across the street, so people could order pizza from there to make it a working dinner. Packo's is close by, as are several other restaurants.

Seed has a fridge, so people can bring their own drinks. In the past, groups have brought in bread and cold meat for sandwiches. So there are several options, as long as we clean up our mess.

What else will be available at Seed? A dozen desks. Free wifi. A projector and screen. Bathrooms. A conference room. Free street parking. A ramp that the kids like to run up and down.

So in general, it should be a lot more "work productive" than the average coffee house. Fewer distractions, bigger tables, etc. The space was designing for people working independently and in small groups, so it should be ideal.

So we can aim for 4-6pm on a Saturday again - still waiting to hear back. But there will be other options as well. Let me know what you think.
