Hey guys,

Any word on what is planned for the Ruby group? I saw Cory is
presenting at Midwest Ruby, that's awesome. I had a ticket for the
Great Lakes Ruby Bash and had a last minute emergency and missed it.

I have been playing with Rails 3 and some Sinatra stuff. It would be
nice to what everyone has going on.

GLRB was a good time, we missed you there.

How do you like Rails 3, I haven't really messed with it.  Spent a little time with Sinatra, have you done much testing Sinatra apps?  If so that would be an awesome presentation if you wanted to give one, I have not been able to find a lot of good info on the matter.

Plans for the Ruby group...  Good question!  What do you want to do?  I would love to try and get together some time in June.  Anyone up for it?

Rails 3 is nice barring some bugs with the third beta. I love the fact that I don't have to remember to escape html anymore, I always forgot that damn h. I haven't played with routes a lot, but they look much more streamlined. Gemfile is cool too, but I assume most did a bundle install pre Rails 3 anyhow.

No testing with Sinatra, just playing.

I'm not sure I could do a presentation on anything. Trying to see if the group is still alive.

Well, looks like you, jwright, and I are all alive.  If you ask me, that's a group!

In conclusion, it seems that we are still alive.

I'm not quite dead yet! I feel better. I might go for a walk :)

A year passed: winter changed into spring, spring changed into summer, summer changed back into winter, and winter gave spring and summer a miss and went straight on into autumn... until one day... we had another meeting... June 26th, perhaps?

I'll be dead that day. I'll be attending Codestock in Tenessee on that
day.

I'm not around this weekend, but the only weekend in June that doesn't work for me is the 11-13th.  There's a givecamp in Columbus that I'm considering going to (anybody with me on that one?) on July 9-11, and I'll be at Ruby Midwest the 16-18th.  That's pretty much my upcoming schedule for the next few months.  Everything else is fair game.  Except for the time I will spend calculating the airspeed of an unladen swallow.

What say you?
