In the real-world sport of rally, the main opponent is time. Beat the time of your competitors, as you each take a stage, or route, one by one. In order to do that as quickly and as safely as possible, alongside each driver is a co-driver.
There's a similarity to Dirt in the feather-fingered handling, as well as in the art of making off-road racing exciting yet accessible. Horizon Rally's point-to-point runs tend towards long open stretches headed off by mild, weaving corners, making this an ideal entry point to the sometimes cruel world of rally gaming - though that's not to say that what's here doesn't put up a formidable challenge.

But for the good, one quibble I do have is the lack of proper rally cars from back in the day. Yes, we get the classic Quattro, but why no sign of a Lancia? Rallying without an 037 or a Delta Integrale feels wrong.
Players will have the option to create their own Rally Monster by utilizing new rally parts and an anti-lag system that comes with flame effects and fire-cracker audio. All cars will have access to the new launch control assist feature as well.
