Whoops!

Can someone undelete event 3627: "Kickstart your Code Career with Hack Reactor & The McAlear Group"? If not I think I can re-add it since I still have the info cached.

Not much can be done to restore it.

Jacob - thanks for letting us know you deleted it. I was the person who added it, on behalf of the organizer. I would have eventually noticed it was missing and re-added it.

With a totally open calendar, that will happen, surprised it does not happen more often. Usually we just get spammers who change past events to point to their Viagara selling sites.

If you accidentally deleted it thru code, then let us know what sort of app you are playing with. The people who have developed other apps that access the calendar are all here. I bet they would be interested to hear what you are working on. But you might have just fat fingered it, like I do often!

I was on the computer wondering if I should add delete functionality to the app I'm making (link in a new post incoming...). I clicked expecting a confirm prompt but it was gone. Luckily I had it cached in the app and was able to reconstruct it. :-D

Adding a “confirmation of a delete” would be a good feature to add!

Or adding a feature to see all deleted events and be able to un-delete them. Would requires changing deleting on the back end, which I suspect removes everything from the database, gone forever. But also a useful feature to add.
