Hi - Patrick, Ryan (a new guy, designer) and I met at Seed just now to talk about updates we'd like to make to the Toledo Calagator.

It includes a new Toledo-based design (that Ryan will come up with) and a new information architecture (different arrangement of features). We'd also like to add organizations to the model (but that may come later). It includes some user interface basics like standardizing on page templates more (such as always putting filtering on the left of the content and actions like editing on the right).

I will type up our notes later to show the details.

Since we are all volunteers, not sure how fast we will progress. We will try to use OpenHacks to keep the momentum going. And share mockups and progress along the way.

Exciting to be making such good progress! Calagator is a great platform - we think this will make it easier to use for both event attendees looking for info about what is going on, and for "event planners" who want to add events without conflicts, see what venues are out there.

As far as the themeing goes - fork a newtol theme and do the work there - I think that will let us test it without disrupting the current theme.

Good to see work on it :)

Bwlow is my list of the set of pages (same pages, just re-arranged) for the redesign and some of the pieces on each page.

Ryan - hopefully this matches what you remember from our Seed conference room session. Patrick was here with me as I typed this up, so he is OK with it.

Let me know if you have questions or comments.
