Laser cutter repair?

Hello! As an avid laser-cutter fan, I am sad to hear that the laser is having a cooling problem.

Is there anyone who has worked on it recently who knows its current state? I'd like to help get it up and running again.

The lasertube is broken... again, this time on the opposite end.  I am ordering a new one.  Current state is probably not going to be ready until mid November when I get thanksgiving break.  Then before we let anyone use it we need to solve the problem of the air bubbles getting trapped in either end of the tube.
