It would be convenient to define a hashtag for the group.
#trug, or #tokyorb, for example.

I like #trug, as it is short, and also doesn't sound like tokyo.rb (there are already many great .rb groups in Tokyo). Also, it sounds similar to TLUG (Tokyo Linux Users Group - http://tlug.jp/), another great group with an international focus.
