Hello Everyone,
Startup Weekend Tokyo is happening on March 11 - 13th (http://
tokyo.startupweekend.org/).
I did not participate in the first one, but from what I hear, it was a
great opportunity to get together with a bunch of people and create an
app (web, iphone, android, etc) in a weekend. In particular, this
event might be of interest to Tokyo Rubyists as there is strong
participation of both Japanese and non-Japanese alike. While Tokyo
Rubyist Meetup gives you a chance to meet people from other cultures,
this is a opportunity to work with them. I intend to participate in
the event and hope to see other members of this group there!
Also, if anyone on this list in Kansai, Startup Weekend Tokyo is
happening Apr 29 - May 1st (http://kyoto.startupweekend.org/).
