Forgedby our family\u2019s pioneering spirit, Mecca Grade Estate Malt creates the missing ingredient in your beer: a malt of uncompromising character and complexity, made for brewers and beer lovers alike.

My commercial photography is perfectly suited to clients who want to try things a little differently, look at new perspectives and realise that a great photograph needs more than just a great camera to be created.

In addition to capturing great still images, I also really enjoy collaborating with other creative individuals and can help advise on how to take your photographs to a different audience both in print and online.

I shoot a variety of photography projects as Roddy Mackay Photography, and run a creative consultancy business specialising in Web projects at Tentmaker Creative. I travel frequently, and work across a range of disciplines. Send me an e-mail, I'd be glad to hear from you.

With everybody ready to rock, it was time to get settled over in the Tithe Barn. There was a lovely civil ceremony, with a couple of readings and some music. One of the bridesmaids was a singer, which usually means having to pull double duty! With the legal stuff complete, the guests followed the newlyweds back over the road to the Malt House for the reception.

After the wedding breakfast, there were a series of very emotional speeches. Tears all round! The couple then cut their wedding cake, complete with a topper representation of the bride and groom. Tom was of course depicted holding a camera. Soon the dance floor was jumping as the band got started.

Special thanks to Greg Septon, the falcon expert who oversees the program at our malt plant and many other locations in Wisconsin. We appreciate the expertise and passion that he has invested in the program for many years.

As a result, viewers also get to appreciate the scenes more, since there is minimal camera movement. Another factor that makes Hong Kong films better is that studios have been known to wait and delay the release while waiting for a better outcome.

After a dispute over ownership of the Old Crow name (James Crow sired no children), W.A. Gaines acquired the brand name. In 1934, just after Prohibition (1920 to 1933), National Distillers purchased Gaines. They made Old Crow their flagship brand and the number one selling bourbon in the country.

The whiskey glut in the 1970s caused Old Crow to fall hard. Jim Beam eventually bought National Distillers in 1987. Along with Old Crow, they acquired brands like Old Taylor and Old Grand-Dad. To this day, Jim Beam owns the Old Crow brand.

While researching this article, I found this interesting Chuck Cowdery article. According to him, he was allowed by Jim Beam to be shown around the Old Taylor and the Old Crow by a couple of old National Distillers people (Cowdery previously discussed the period after the acquisition with Taylor).

In the mouth: Only slightly hotter than on the nose, but just like on the nose, I also taste a jam jam. The jammy tastes of oranges, cherries, peaches and apricots are still long and so enjoyable. But there are underlying bitter tastes of cloves, leather, and orange peel.

On the nose: Bitter and fruity. From the start I get sharp, medium, and enveloping aromas of cloves, leather, oak, a bit too much cinnamon and orange peels. Then the quick and light appearances of vanilla, sweet corn, honey, orange marmalade and orange peel oils make the end more appealing.

The changed product hit the market in 1969. The error was not corrected until 1983 when evidence was found that proved what happened. Corporate allowed a correction to be made. Approximately 40,000 barrels was made. The difference was very evident. Also know that it was made using a 21 plate column still.

The beer in question is called The Great Gambrino, which is a slam-dunk reference to The Sandlot, a 1993 film about several 12-year-old boys who live and breathe baseball and lack adequate supervision. As we all know, beer and baseball go together like the 4th of July and fireworks.

David: I definitely wanted to see how this malt would shine, so we used 100% Gambrinus IPA Malt here. We made a 10 bbl batch for draft across our three taprooms. It performed very well in the brewhouse. Our efficiency was great. The husk stability and everything like that were as expected. The run-off was clear. The boil-off was nice.

Specialty Malt Market size is estimated to reach $5.1 billion by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 4.7% during the forecast period 2022-2027. Malts are delineated as cereal grains that are first soaked in water to germinate or sprout seedlings from them and then dried by making use of hot air. Barley is the most commonly considered for the preparation of non-alcoholic malt beverages like beer. Whereas specialty malts are nothing, but a variety of grains used in brewing processes to enhance the flavor of the final product. Accruing trends of ready-to-eat foods are stimulating the demand for the usage of yeasts, malt, and other starch powders like maltodextrin in food items to improve the flavor, promote enzyme activity, and elevate their shelf life.

No matter if under studio conditions or on the street, the Nikon FE2 film camera is part of my inner circle of cameras to do the job. Amongst all cameras of the FM/FE series, this advanced semi-professional level, interchangeable-lens, single lens reflex (SLR) camera is my absolute favourite, getting close the Nikon FM3A, just way cheaper.

The FE2 has a vertical-travel focal-plane Titanium shutter with a speed range of 8 to 1/4000th seconds, Bulb and flash X-sync of 1/250th second. It was produced from 1983 to 1987 as the successor to the Nikon FE in black with chrome trim and all black. As I have a Nikon FE with chrome trim, I chose the all black version for my FE2. The chrome part is beautiful, but the all black version is simply a very elegant design.

The FE2 is a member of the classic Nikon compact F-series 35 mm SLRs and was built upon a compact but rugged copper-aluminum alloy chassis similar to the ones used by the earlier Nikon FM (introduced in 1977), FE (1978), and FM2 (1982) cameras. The FM2/FE2 twins were improved successors to the successful Nikon FM/FE cameras with enhanced features, but minor external controls and cosmetic differences. The limited-production Nikon FM3A of 2001 continued to use it until 2006.

The Nikon FE2 employs a through-the-lens (TTL) center-weighted full aperture exposure metering system which measures the light passing through the lens at maximum aperture. This assures a bright finder image during shooting session. Exposure measurement put a strong emphasis at the 12 mm diameter central area with the standard type K focusing screen. To activate the metering, you need to pull the film advance lever to unlock the shutter button. When pressing the button halfway down, the camera starts metering and will stay active for 16 seconds.

Unlike the Nikon FE, the Nikon FE2 cannot use non-AI Nikkor lenses (unless you go for stop down metering) because the AI prong cannot be flipped up. With the Nikon FE2 you can use most of the AI-type Nikkor lenses, as well as autofocus Nikkors up to, but not including the "G" series.

When it comes to photographing with flash, the Nikon FE2 is absolutely superior to any other camera of the FM/FE family as well as to many of its competitors of other brands. The FE2 offeres TTL OTF flash metering in addition to conventional manual and auto flash.

The advantage of this system is that the light is directly measured at the precise moment of exposure, metering the amount of light striking the film through the lens and regulating the power output of the flash unit for the exposure. No matter which lense, no matter which filters applied: By metering through the lense the flash unit will fire for an absolutely precise exposure without any further math by you.
