An evening of impromptu entertainment, brought to you by a group of
"students" with hosts Greg Ellis and Ralph Mccubbin-Howell
The "students" are participants of the "North Island Improv School",
held earlier in the day - they all received some four hours of
training to ready them for the onslaught of audience suggestions of
topics.
An evening of guaranteed hilarious entertainment.

Improv Comedy is the art of making up funny scenes on the spot with no
rehearsal and no script. If it sounds familiar it is. People have been
tuning in to “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” on the TV and going to see
live Theatresports performances for over 2 decades but what makes this
show and workshops so special is ...the spirit of the performers. Not
seasoned professionals but gutsy newcomers who master their nerves and
put the day’s training into effect with amazing and hilarious results.
When you combine these raw materials with an improv performer who has
been making audiences laugh all around the country since 1990 and you
have the recipe for a once in a lifetime experience – created every
year at the Plaza!
