Camera/Mic Acquisition Issues

Developers,

We have heard that some of you may be having issues getting your
camera or mic to start. We are currently investigating the issue at
our end. In order to help with this effort, we are trying to implement
an easter egg, via which you will be able to send us a quick email
with log data, anytime you run into this issue. However, until this is
implemented, we could use your help! Anytime you run into a camera/mic
acquisition issue, could you please post to this thread. It would be
great if you could answer the following when you do. This will help us
tremendously in resolving this issue!

1. What version of Flash are you using?
2. Do you have Skype 5 installed and/or running?
3. Does the camera light turn on? If so, is the video screen black?
4. Is Google Camera shown in your list of available cameras?
5. Verify that the camera works with some other application on your
machine. Did you just use it before trying it on OpenTok?
6. What is your OS/Browser combo?
7. If there is a secondary camera on the machine, does choosing it fix
the issue?
8. Do you have an explicit "Publish" button in the app or is auto-
publish enabled?
