Hi,

A new video chat widget would need to be created for each group, though
the embed only allows creating new call (chat room) through the existing
interface here:

http://me.tokbox.com/#embed=call

Is it possible to reuse or limit the create of groups?

//Original Post Below

Users have the ability to create groups in my site. I'd like to give
each group it's own chat room. How can I do this with the embedded
widget? It seems that the data and movie values in the embed code has to
be unique for each chat room. Do I have to create a new widget
everytime a new group is created?

Hi Freddy,

That sounds like the best approach.  And, to answer your question, call ids don't expire, so you can use them as long as you want.  Thanks for your questions.

Thanks for your response Thomas. I think reusing the calls might be a good workaround. Each group would probably only use the call once a day so if another group needs to meet at a different time they can reuse it. The only time I would need multiple calls would be if different groups need to have their respective meetings at the same time. Do embedded call ids expire, if so how long after the id is created?

Thanks again for your help,

I think reusing each widget for multiple groups is the way to go. This
way I would only need additional widgets if there's a scheduling
conflict. Now what I'm wondering is does the embed widget code expire?
If so after how long?

Thanks for your help on this.

Sorry about the double post Thomas, I saw you already answered my
question after I reposted. I got an error message when I sent the
older post and I thought you didn't get it. My apologies again and
thanks for the help.
