BootWoeCamp à Lomé du 26 au 28 décembre 2014!
Le BootWɔɛCamp est un évènement participatif entièrement dédié au bricolage et la fabrication de
machines de tous genres (robots, ordinateurs, imprimantes 3d, jouets etc.) avec des petits moyens.
C’est un événement panafricain qui se veut le rendez-vous des communautés Makers de tout le continent.

L’Africaine d’Architecture,Woelab and the #SilliconVilla organised the third edition of Boot(Woe)Camp at Lomé
from 26 to 28 December. The BootWɔɛCamp is a participatory event entirely dedicated to crafts and manufacturing
machinery of all kinds (robots, computers, 3d printers, toys etc.) with small means. This is a pan-African event
which wants to be the appointment of Makers communities across the continent.

Dans la continuité du déploiement du programme original de Ville Intelligente “Lomé-HubCité”
et de l’ensemble de leurs initiatives de Démocratisation Technologique, L’Africaine d’architecture
et WoeLab organisent du 26 au 28 Décembre prochains, le troisième Boot(Woe)Camp (BWC) !
Trois jours, en accès libre et entièrement gratuit, d’ateliers intensifs, conférences, démonstrations,
fabrication et prototypage rapide de machines avec de petits moyens, où chaque participant est
invité à s’impliquer ou présenter un projet.
Les BWC sont à chaque fois l’occasion d’initier une soixantaine de jeunes en moyenne aux nouvelles
technologies dans l’esprit “Do It Yourself !”
Ce rendez-vous panafricain accueillera cette année des représentants du Benin et du Ghana et
hébergera l’édition N°2 du Cycle de Conférences “ #3DprintAfrica Con “ sur le thème “Impression 3D,
Perspectives pour une architecture africaine”.

" Large workshop New Year's Lab, BWC is the opportunity to initiate a public restitution: make big announcements
and communicate the objectives of the next season.
WɔɛLab? WɔɛLab Lomé (Togo FabLab 1) is a space of technological democracy, native incubator projects. It is thought
on the European model with a view to adapting it to African realities. It opens its doors to young enthusiasts of new
technologies without distinction of age, social classes and backgrounds. The WɔɛLab therefore tries to inculcate the
major technologies for small people through its LowHighTech strategy based on collective intelligence.
Grand atelier de fin d'année du Lab, BWC est surtout l’occasion d’initier une restitution publique:
faire les grandes annonces et communiquer sur les objectifs de la prochaine saison.
Le WɔɛLab Lomé ?
WɔɛLab Lomé (1er FabLab Togolais) est un espace de démocratie technologique, incubateur de projets natifs. Il est pensé sur le modèle Européen avec
le souci de l'adapter aux réalités africaines. Il ouvre ses portes à tous jeunes passionnés des nouvelles technologies sans distinction d'âges, de catégories
sociales et d'horizons. Le WɔɛLab essaye donc d'inculquer les grandes technologies à de petits gens à travers sa stratégie de LowHighTech en se basant sur
l'intelligence collective.
