Dear Educator:

The Siemens Foundation's 2012 Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology registration deadline is quickly approaching. The application and registration instructions are available for you and your students at the Siemens Foundation website, www.siemens-foundation.org or the College Board website, www.collegeboard.com/siemens until 5pm EST, Monday, October 1, 2012.

Encourage your bright and ambitious students to enter this STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) research competition.  Students have the opportunity to win over $100,000 in college scholarship funds.

Rising high school seniors are eligible to enter individual research projects in the competition, and all high school students (from grades 9-12) are eligible to enter projects as part of a two or three member team. We hope that you will assist us in reaching out to your students. We realize the significant role that you play in fostering and supporting your students´ exploration of math and science and we ask that you encourage their participation in this prestigious competition.

Again, the deadline for receipt of project is 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday, October 1, 2012. We look forward to your school´s active participation.

Sincerely,

Jeniffer Harper-Taylor
