Dear math teacher,

I'm Andrew Hsiau with Mathworks at Texas State University, and I'm writing in hopes that you'll let your high school students know of a great summer program opportunity!  For the past 23 years, we have held the six-week Honors Summer Math Camp (HSMC) here at Texas State, drawing students from across the state and nation.  Females and other demographics under-represented in the math and sciences are highly encouraged to apply.  You had written a letter of recommendation for students last summer, and I'm hoping that this year you also have students who will apply!

Reasons to apply to the HSMC include the following:
* Gain early experience living on a college campus for six weeks!
* Improve your problem-solving and reasoning skills by doing exciting and challenging mathematics
* Gain a deep and lasting impact - more than 80% of our program alumni choose to major in math, science, or engineering in college
* A number of need-based scholarships are available - but please apply early before they are all awarded!
* Develop excellent teamwork and communication skills
