You are so right about Sansa Support. Sandisk is getting a bad name from this. However, the forum has provided some good hints for me that has led to my succeeding at NEARLY EVERYTHING. I can tell you what is need (free) and the steps for you to convert your videos so that the converter can process and store the video files. It works 100% for me and is only one additional step.
First try searching for ALL msgs from me iraisok. One of the msgs says you need to first convert your video using ANYVIDEOCONVERTER (free d/l) to MP4. The defaults are fine but you can up the audio to 128K as I have. Then feed that into the Sansa crapping 86MB media converter.

That said, I suggest you try to uninstall the ARCSoft Converter, probably clean out(delete the folder under Program Files (if it is still there after you delete the app from ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Then try installing this InterVideo product.
Sansa Media Conveter need QuickTime for the codec of mp4. Also Sansa Media Converter will use what ever codec install on your pc for its to convert. Make sure you have the right codec for the video. Hope this help.

If it is really a HUB (the device that operates in half-duplex/HD only as opposed to a switch that can operate in HD and/or FD per port) then Your link was somehow operating in HD before, and the upgrade restricted this possibility.
I have one cisco switch SX550X-24F 24-Port 10G SFP+ Stackable Managed Switch and I tried to connected TP-Link Media converter MC200CM with the fiber ports in the switch, but only power is working in the media converter, other lights are not working, I tried to solve the issue by forcing the speed port of the switch to 1000mbps with full duplex and disabling autonegotation but no change and switch operational mode status still down, I tried to connect Planet media converter GT-802 in the cisco switch and it worked without any issues, the questions here, is there any configuration should be done with cisco switch so that make tplink media converter work on it? kindly share your experience with this post if you have any similar cases like this.
I have the same problem. I tried to connect a MC200L with a original TP-Link 850nm SFP-module to a sx550x-24f, also with a 850nm SFP-module. It didnt work. The sx550x show me that there is a module present and configured to speed 1G but operational status is down. A green LED on the sx550 comes up short only in the moment i connect the MC200L.
